How to Eat at Sushiro
What’s more fun that eating sushi from a conveyor belt? If you know you know, but If you don’t here’s a quick guide to “how to eat sushi at Sushiro”.
Wait to be seated
In peak times there’s usually a queue, wait for the waitress to find a seat for you. They will give you a card with a barcode on it, keep it until checkout as that’s where your total cost will be recorded.
Order from the menu
The digital tablet at your table is the menu. You can select English language to customize the menu for you.
You can only order around 4 items at a time, just click order, then create a new order. Food items ordered from the menu will appear at the top conveyor belt at your table. You’ll hear a little melody when the food arrives, It’s like a highway for your food.
There’s complimentary green tea at your table. You’ll find matcha powder in the little black jar, and there’s a tap with hot water for you to fill your cups. Please be careful, the water is very very hot. You can also order sweet drinks (refill) and beer from the menu.
Pick food from the conveyor belt
The food on the conveyor belt is definitely hypnotizing. You can pick whichever food you fancy from the belt. Each color plate will have a value
Red = 40 Baht
Silver/gray = 60 Baht
Gold = 80 Baht
Black = 120 Baht
Recommended sushi at Sushiro
Must try dishes at Sushiro, either cause of deliciousness or price, would be the salmon nigiri for only 40 Baht, sweet red shrimp nigiri, hotate (scallop) nigiri, crab butter gunkan, and fatty tuna nigiri.
Check out
When finished, stack all your plates (should be by color, but it doesn’t really matter). The service staff will scan the plates and check if you made any additional orders. They also scan the barcode on the card you were given when you entered. Bring that card with you to the cashier, and pay the total at the cashier.
How much is Sushiro?
Your total bill will depend on what type of Sushi you pick. The plates have a value depending on color: Red = 40 Baht, Silver/gray = 60 Baht, Gold = 80 Baht, Black = 120 Baht. Each month there’s a “limited time special” theme, and you can get some amazing deals like fatty tuna for only 40 Baht.
Usually we will pay around 1,200 Baht for a lunch for two people.
Where is Sushiro located?
There’s plenty of Sushiro branches in Bangkok, with some of the most famous ones located at Central World, Icon Siam, Emporium and La Villa (right at the Ari bts station).
