35 Dry Aged Beef in Bangkok

35 Dry Aged Beef is a relatively new restaurant in a shophouse on Charoenrat Road in Thonburi area (not too far from Icon Siam). It’s small and cozy, and you might need to call ahead to book a table.

Homemade cold cuts platter 420 Baht

Start with the cold cuts platter. Homemade cold cuts with garlic bread, mozzarella or possibly burrata, I’m not 100% sure, and pickles. The chorizo and Parma ham (can you call it Parma if it’s not from Parma?) were my favorites.

Beef tartare at 35 Dry Aged Beef in Bangkok

Beef tartare 420 Baht

The beef tartare is inspired by Japanese flavors, more so than a traditional French tartare. It’s very fresh, delicious, and the parmesan gives it a nice softness.

Beef stew at 35 Dry Aged Beef in Bangkok

Beef stew and mashed potato 420 Baht

The beef stew has an earthy flavor with hints of mushroom. The beef chunks are super tender and melts in your mouth, while the mashed potato is super smooth and silky like buttercream. 10/10 Amazing!

Beef fat fried rice at 35 Dry Aged Beef in Bangkok

Beef fat fried rice 160 Baht, soy pickled egg yolk 25 Baht

Beef fat fried rice, if you really love the flavor of beef (well if you don’t, this would not be the place for you). I’m partial.. I love really good beef, but I’d normally go for another protein due to personal preference. This fried rice had a little bit too beefy flavor for me. However, it’s still delicious together with the soy pickled egg yolk.

Sundried picanha at 35 Dry Aged Beef in Bangkok

Grilled sundried picanha 390 Baht

The grilled sundried picanha beef with egg yolk chili sauce is good, but we were a bit unlucky to have it served at the same time as the wagyu rib eye. After a bite of the wagyu rib eye not much can compare.

Wagyu at 35 Dry Aged Beef in Bangkok

A5 Wagyu rib eye steak 645 Baht / 100 gram

And we’ve come to the main event. Wow Wo Wow! A5 Wagyu dry aged rib eye beef steak. Melt in the mouth - cooked to perfection steak. I still have dreams about this steak. If I’d have to pick something for my last supper, this would probable be it. It’s priced accordingly, and I’ll have to starve for a few weeks before I can have this again.

Menu & Price at 35 Dry Aged Beef

The menu is packed with beef options in many varieties. To make the most out of each dish, order them one by one. Take time to enjoy each dish as they are all amazing. Do not start with the steak as after that you’ll want nothing else.

35 Dry Aged Beed is definitely on the pricier side, but worth it if you want a great dinner with high quality ingredients. We went all in on beef as we wanted to try most of the menu. If you only want to try one dish go for the Beef stew with mashed potatoes. It tastes amazing with the 35 Craft Beer. If you want to impress your date go for the wagyu steak!
