Iroha Ramen - IKEA Bangna

Are you in the mood for ramen? I may not be a ramen connoisseur, but I’ve sure had my fair share of bowls both in Bangkok, Kyoto & Tokyo, and the ramen addiction is real! My go to bowl in Bangkok would definitely be the White Shrimp Ajitama Ramen at Iroha Ramen. The shrimp flavored broth is wonderful and far from fishy (can’t stand fishy stuff) with bouncy noodles and delicious char siu.

You’ll find Iroha Ramen at Mega Bangna shopping center, right next to IKEA, and they also have a small stall at Central World in the city center.

The Mega Bangna branch is also an Izakaya and have an extensive menu with Yakitori (grilled skewers), Kushi Katsu (deep fried skewers) and Sushi. We usually order a few octopus nigiri as a side dish.

Regular size versus large size. I would say the regular size is definitely enough. It’s a huge bowl! BUT, if you want that extra meat, go for the large size.

The price? Two bowls of ramen, 3 nigiri, 2 green tea was a total of around 800 Baht (including service charge). Good value I would say.
